Justin Canada

Justin has been a believer in Smile Spaces from the start. He brings with him experience in social communications, recruiting and so much positivity! Justin is the Director of Communications for Smile Spaces.

Tammy Vanderheiden

Tammy has been a believer in Smile Spaces from the start. She brings with her skills of organization, communication, and caretaking. She is also very crafty! Tammy is the Secretary of Smile Spaces.

Chanel Coontz

Chanel is an Interior Designer that has a passion for helping others. Chanel has a wealth of knowledge on healing effects that interior environments can have on children in underserved communities. Chanel is the Founder and Executive Director of Smile Spaces.

Aaron K.

Aaron comes to us with over 20 years of experience business ownership and sales. An early believer in the Smile Spaces mission, Aaron has officially joined our board, as the Treasurer of the Smile Spaces Foundation.

Allyson Munroe

Allyson has been involved in many projects for Smile Spaces from the start. She has Volunteered for events, actively worked in Room Resets, is on the application approval committee AND is Lead Project Manager for the Child Haven Project.

Kristi Hazel

Kristi has been a wonderful part of the Smile Spaces journey as we grow. From Oregon, Kristie helps with community outreach and social media to share our story. Kristi is also our Program Administrator, working daily with the families that we have the pleasure of meeting along the way.

Application Approval Committee

To keep our application approval process ethical, and fair, we have a committee of volunteers that vote for approval of each Smile Spaces room. Applications are received by an Administrator named Kristi, then is passed along to a group of 4 volunteers for voting! Our volunteers names for this task are Nicole, Justin, Allyson, and Ashley.
